History

In 1924, Nicholas and Henry Seippel established an agricultural consulting cooperative in the mid west of the United States to manage and share agricultural risks amongst local producers. Though the company discontinued operations in the late 1930's with the entrance of corporations into the agricultural business, the name continued.

In 1989, Phillip Seippel established the Insurance Service Associate (I.S.A.) agency in Mallorca, Spain. After several years of successfully underwriting in the marine and non marine market and establishing contracts with major international underwriters, he decided in conjunction with the new Chairman, Mr. David Wickins, to revive the family business name and convert the company into a fully accredited insurance brokerage.

Today the company represents all major international insurance companies, and has working agreements with the largest international brokerage firms. The company has offices in the newly established business centre of the Santa Ponsa Boulevard, Mallorca's number one service business centre. The company's sister firm, Seippel & Light, manages all marine risks from its strategically situated offices in Puerto Portals, Mallorca.
